Several loose pages of text describing the dam are included. All items in good condition.
This is a 7-1/2" by 10" engraving of William Turner Faircloth , originally of Edgecombe County, North Carolina and after the war of Goldsboro, North Carolina.. He became a lawyer prior to the Civil War and fought during the War in Company C, of the Second North Carolina commanded by Col. C. C. Tew and was in the Army of Northern Virginia until its surrender at Appomattox Court House at the end of the war. He was also a delegate to the provisional state convention after the war. The print comes with one page of text describing his family and career. The print is from an 1892 volume titled "Cyclopedia of Eminent and Representative Men of the Carolinas of the Nineteenth Century". Good condition - print is on heavy paper - printed one side only - suitable for framing.
This is a 4 page, 5-1/2" by 8-1/2", program for a literary contest held at Maben's Opera House in the Utica New York area in the 1880's or 1890's (not dated but paper and print appear to be from the 1880's period). He served as a state representative, a state senator and as a US Senator.

This is a 7-1/2" by 10" engraving of William Turner Faircloth , originally of Edgecombe County, North Carolina and after the war of Goldsboro, North Carolina.. He became a lawyer prior to the Civil War and fought during the War in Company C, of the Second North Carolina commanded by Col. C. C. Tew and was in the Army of Northern Virginia until its surrender at Appomattox Court House at the end of the war. He was also a delegate to the provisional state convention after the war. The print comes with one page of text describing his family and career. The print is from an 1892 volume titled "Cyclopedia of Eminent and Representative Men of the Carolinas of the Nineteenth Century". Good condition - print is on heavy paper - printed one side only - suitable for framing.

This is a 14" by 22" illustration titled "The Burnett & Clifton Automatic Coal Chute" that shows design drawings of the new automated coal chute to fuel steam railroad locomotives. The drawing is from the December 26, 1891 issue of "Engineering News and American Railway Journal" magazine (magazine is included with illustration - magazine is from a bound volume - no covers). Illustration is printed on 1 side only - suitable for framing - very good condition - not brittle - no tears - light stain in upper margin - does not enter printed area.
