Item# 505 Railroad Serving Cart Table
The top of this table is the top of a rolling railroad beverage cart from the late 1800's/early 1900's. This top was attached to a contemporary tapered leg base. The black cast iron pieces attached to the apron of the table were originally on the underside of the railroad serving cart and were used to attach the top to the old rolling base. We attached the cast iron pieces to the new base to keep them with the piece and to give the piece some additional interest. This is a one of a kind table and is available for pickup at our Troy, PA facility - we will not ship this item.

The planks have been beveled on the outside edges to make them appear to be thinner than they are. The table has breadboard ends and is shown in a dark red over salmon distressed paint.
