Item# 528 Wythe County VA Pie Safe
The pie safe is inspired by those found in the Wythe County, VA area. These pie safes typically dated from the mid-1800's and were characterized by large ornate tins, not always but often had short turned legs, and were generally wider than they were tall. This one measures 54" wide, 46" high and is 18" deep - fairly typical measurements for this style. The tins measure 20" wide by 22-1/2" high. The legs were turned and the tins were punched in our workshop in Troy, PA. It is made of all new materials except for the tins which are made of reclaimed materials. This is a one of a kind pie safe and is available for pickup at our Troy, PA facility - we will not ship this item.

The wine cupboard measures 42" wide, 17" deep and 74" high. It has 42 - 4" by 4" cubby holes that are about 10" deep. The solid door has breadboard ends and the drawers are dovetailed. This is an antique tall 1 door jelly cupboard with hand planed boards and back and cut nails. It is all original except for repairs to the gallery and it has been repainted. The cupboard had traces of its original color and the new paint was faithfully matched to the original. The cupboard measures 40" wide, 57-1/2" high and is 16"deep. The door is a single 15" wide board with its original breadboard ends. This is a one of a kind cupboard and is available for pickup at our Troy, PA facility - we will not ship this item.
