Product Information
Construction
- Most drawers are dovetailed except on the smallest pieces

- Most doors use mortise & tenon construction and are pinned (held together with corner dowels - no nails or screws)
- Raised panels for doors are hand made and are of an old fashioned style - are not done with modern router or molding bits (see picture above)
- Many of our small catches, pins, etc. are hand made in our shop. The following picture is of a dowel pin handle used on our pin top table that is turned on a lathe in our shop:

- We turn our own legs for tables, etc. on a lathe in our shop - this gives us more flexibility with table heights, unique pieces and turning patterns.

Materials
- Our products are constructed for the most part of Eastern white pine sourced from New England.
- Most other materials are also of US origin (exceptions may be a some nails, screws and the smaller hinges)
Finishes
- Our distressed paint finishes utilize a special process we have developed
- We use primarily water based paints and protect them with a hand rubbed paste wax finish.
- Our table top finishes vary depending on the product. Some are a wash finish utilizing paints to emulate stain while others are commercially available stains.
We use a paste wax finish on most table tops.
