A Dozen Ideas For Decorating With Small Collections
1/24/2010

Small collections or groupings of related items can be an interesting and effective way to decorate your primitive home. Unlike large collections of a single item that are often difficult to display, small collections can be targeted to enhance a specific space or area in your home. The items collected don't have to be expensive or terribly hard to find - just something of interest to you. The following images show 12 ideas of how small collections can be used to decorate your home.

1. A collection of old tin cookie cutters in a wooden bowl.

2. A hallway wall of mirrors - some are antique mirrors, some are old picture frames with new mirror glass installed, and some are Pocono Primitives reproductions.

3. A collection of old trivets and irons displayed on one of our decorative shelves.

4. A grouping of three similar but different size kerosene lanterns.

5. A grouping of bread boards & a blue barrel cover.

6. A grouping of four small benches.

7. A grouping of advertising tins.

8. A small cluster of baskets hung from a beam on a metal miner's hook.

9. A grouping of oil lamps.

10. A grouping of small metal coffee pots on a decorative shelf.

11. A grouping of tin candle molds above a double door.
